Ciara conducts rigorous and comprehensive assessments of children’s, adolescents’ and adults’ cognitive and social-emotional functioning. Assessments are carried out at the practice in Broughshane, however they can also be conducted in the client’s home setting and/or school.

Standard assessment fee: £550

Ciara is trained and experienced in providing therapeutic interventions for children and young people presenting with a range of psychological difficulties.  She uses a variety of approaches in her therapeutic work including motivational interviewing, solution focused brief therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Ciara is currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Play Therapy. This is a course accredited by Play Therapy UK and will qualify her as a Certified Practitioner in Therapeutic Play Skills.

Ciara provides expert witness reports in connection with the special educational needs and disability tribunal system and the Courts. She provides reports for proceedings within the Criminal Justice System, Child and Family Law proceedings and Employment matters.
